NISMO CRS - R35 GT-R Aero Overview

It all begins with an idea. I had the idea of adding only performance-oriented, verified beneficial aero parts to the R35. My 45th anniversary 2016 GTR is a rare sight anywhere in GTR circles, but I could not just keep this car stock. We can make it better, we have the technology.

I stumbled upon the NISMO CRS kit while gawking over the kit of the same namesake for the R33 GTR, which I have recently sold. I was interested to learn about the NISMO R35 kit reading about it here: LINK

Developed as aerodynamically functional parts by employing the latest aerodynamic analysis. The GT500 aerodynamicists completed the basic designs and the NISSAN GT-R design team oversaw the development.
① Carbon Hood Assy
This kit adds a hood gurney to the OEM hood. Increasing the downforce at the front-end increases turning performance. In addition, this kit adds ribs to the underside of the hood to increase rigidity and secures an efficient flow of cooling air to the turbo. Using carbon materials also reduces weight by 3 kg.
② Front Under Spoiler
More downforce as well as brake air duct functions.
③ Front Fender Set
More down force by the same shape as the N-Attack parts.
④ Side Skirt Set
More down force by additional under floor area.
⑤ Rear Under Spoiler Set
More straight-line stability by straightening the airflow.
⑥ Rear Diffuser Fin Set
Made from dry carbon CFRP. More straight-line stability by straightening the airflow and with high stiffness.
⑦ Add-on Rear Spoiler
More down force by increased area above the spoiler and by the wing end-plates type design.

The hood is the only part made from CFRP (Carbon Fiber), the other parts are all made from FRP, in a black gel coat.

Rear end view of the NISMO CRS kit

Both the rear diffuser strakes and the rear wing add-on are made from CFRP
